Here are my choices, all overlapping with other challenges:
1) The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood (won 2000)
2) The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid (shortlisted 2007)
3) The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy (won 1997)
4) Amsterdam by Ian McEwan (won 1998)
5) Disgrace by J.M. Coetzee (won 1999)
6) Number9dream by David Mitchell (shortlisted 2001)
And since I'm joining all these challenges, I had to join this one too - the 100+ Reading Challenge. It's simple - I'm hoping to read at least 100 books this year! Better get off the computer and get to it! :-)

You're too funny! I keep doing the same thing: More challenges. I'm in the 100+ too, so we can cheer each other on! Don't forget to sign up for the Yahoo group for that one.
I'm trying to come up with some clever ideas for challenges to host next year. I need to learn how to use that darn Mr. Linky. :-)

Welcome to the 100+ Reading Challenge! :-D I have posted your link on the right sidebar of the blog. Best of luck and above all, have fun!
Thanks! ;-)
Me again. :)
For the 100+ Reading Challenge, I am doing something fun. Well, at least I think it is. I'd like to start posting the participating members favorite book for each month on the blog. Mine is already up for January. Send me your favorite book and author of the book for January. As soon as this month is over, I’ll post one for February.
Hi, Joanna! Were you ever able to find the Yahoo group? I just saw that you asked about it here in the comments. Sorry! If not, here is the link:
