I opened amazon.co.uk today and saw that they're pushing the Kindle, just in time for Christmas. I'm intrigued by the Kindle experience - I know that you can get books onto it really quickly and it probably has loads of cool features, but is it satisfying? Really? Does it compare with the pleasure you get out of handling an actual book?
What do you think? Do you have one? Do you use it? Is it worth spending money on??

I'm trying to make this same decision. It will never replace physical books for me, but maybe it will help with storage space? :-) And we can save a few trees, too!

I don't think I can actually give up on books. I like to have them in a nice book case.
Yes, this does sound very interesting. I am very tempted. Would be especially great for travelling.
It's just not the same to me as reading an actual book. I love the feel of a book in my hands (plus my current stock if I stopped buying would keep me in reading material for another 5 years!).
Well, I caved in and pre-ordered a Kindle. It should be in Belgium around October 21. I'll let you know how it goes.
