Prize you’ve won: none (yet!)

As for the Hour 1 meme -

Where are you reading from today? Brussels, Belgium
3 facts about me … Let's see... I have an almost nine-month-old son; I was born in Warsaw, Poland; I am Buffy-verse obsessed :-)
How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours? 13. Too many?
Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)? Nah, I just want to have fun. And I want to spend more time visiting other blogs than I did last time, which is why I also signed up to be a cheerleader.
If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, any advice for people doing this for the first time? Pick short and/or action packed books and have fun! And don't forget the other readers, the read-a-thon is a community-building event and You'll get more out of it if you participate in the social side.

Apple, peach and pumpkin pie,
You can’t read everything,
But why not try?
Happy Readathon!
Go Team Simile!!!

So agreed with the social part--wish more people spent some time hopping around rather than trying to read the ENTIRE 24 hours.

You're doing great so far, Joanna!

Can I make a small suggestion to turn off your word verification just for today?

Con - great cheer! :-)

Trish - I always thought I had it turned off! Thanks for letting me know, it should be off now.
