Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Wolves at the Gate

What can I say about volume 3 of these Buffy Season 8 comics, except that they're fabulous? I think this was my favorite installment so far - maybe I'm getting used to the comic format? I did find I was naturally reading the dialogue in order rather than reading it like I would a normal book!

I really can't say anything about the plot or the characters without giving some of it away, so I won't. Anyway, you'll probably never read these unless you're a Buffy fan already and if you are a Buffy fan already then I don't need to go on and on about what a genius Joss Whedon is.

Joss is such a genius. However, I was so disappointed with Marti Noxon's handling of the last few seasons of Buffy that I couldn't bring myself to read the comics.

But if you recommend them, I might have to reconsider. Where is the best place in Brussels to get them?

Hi Lydia,
Really? I loved the last few seasons! I think season 6 is my favorite of all of them, season 4 the least favorite. Ah, my inner geek is talking! :-)

As for the comics, I get them from Amazon, actually (except for the last one which I got as a gift!). I'm not sure Waterstones sells them and if they did they'd be more expensive anyway.

Try them - although be warned, to me anything Buffy is a good thing! :-)

It's so exciting to find another Buffy comic fan! I'm still buying the single editions, so am a little ahead (Vol 25) so - without giving too much away - there's another Faith issue coming up, and Harmony makes an appearance along the way as well!

Have you checked out the Angel series yet?
