I had mixed feelings about A Short History of Myth, but still, it was a quick and interesting read. The book on Paris sounds fascinating! Still trying to decide what to read for this.
Yeah, the Paris book is one I got in Paris last year - I always buy something about the place I'm visiting and I had a lot of bookstore time on that trip! :-)
